Watch student demonstrations, tour upgraded vocational facilities at Kelso High School - Oct 24, 2019

You’re invited! On November 1st, come tour the newly upgraded career and technical education (CTE) facilities at Kelso High School and see students demonstrating what they’re learning on the updated, industry-aligned equipment.

After over a year of planning and construction, major modernizations were made to welding and fabrication, construction technology, engineering, automotive diagnostics and repair, and culinary arts stations, including:

  • Eighteen welding booths
  • Multiple 3D printers
  • Oversized plasma table
  • Four auto repair booths
  • Commercial kitchen

These CTE areas are now more closely aligned with industry standards to give our students training and education that will better prepare them for the world of work.

The open house will be held at Kelso High School from 5:00 to 6:30 pm on November 1st, just prior to Homecoming. Facility tours, demonstrations, and hands-on activities will be available for all attendees. Hamburgers, hotdogs, and dessert provided.

We’re excited to continually improve the educational opportunities we offer our students and we’re so grateful for the way the Kelso community supports and enhances our efforts to prepare every student for living, learning and achieving success.
