We Are...The Family and Community Resource Center!
The Family and Community Resource Center’s mission to promote positive change with youth and families through education, partnerships, collaboration, support, basic needs, health and wellness. Equipping youth, families and schools with the necessary resources and supports to build a thriving community is the FCRC’s goal.
The Family and Community Resource Center (FCRC) was founded in the fall of 2021 with a primary purpose of providing a variety of Health and Human Services that focus on resiliency and self-empowerment to support youth and families be healthy, connected and contributing members of our community. The FCRC is made up of three programs that come together to provide "whole youth and whole family" support. Behavioral Health, Physical Health and Basic Needs.
While a main goal of the FCRC is to assist families experiencing instability, we help connect all families with resources and supports that they may need. The FCRC staff provide an array of services and activities that are integrated, comprehensive, and responsive to the identified needs of youth, families, schools and the community. All services are free of charge.
Our staff fields requests for a variety of resources to help youth and families in need. Those requests typically include items such as; food, school supplies, clothes and personal items. Our team also supports youth families in obtaining state medical insurance, support in making mental and physical health appointments, assistance with employment and navigating housing options in our community.
The Kelso School District has a rich tradition of collaborating with our community partners to provide better outcomes for students. The Family and Community Resource Center is a natural extension of the district’s partnerships with these resources.

Mobile Clothing Bank
The Kelso Christian Assembly has partnered with the FCRC to offer a mobile clothing bank to youth in our elementary schools that are in need!
We are currently serving Rose Valley, Carrolls and Butler Acres Elementary Schools. If you would like more information on how your student can shop, please call us at 360.501.1993!
