Butler Acres started a new tradition this week: a bell ceremony to ring in the new school year with all the new Blue Jays.
"We feel this is an important opportunity for all our new students to feel welcomed," said Assistant Principal Sarah Dahl.
The bell ringing ceremony will happen twice a year. Once in September, to welcome all the new students, and again in June, to say goodbye to all the students who continue their journey beyond Butler Acres.
